My last fashion acquisitions update was in early December. Things haven’t changed much since then. I’ve been living on a pretty lean wardrobe this winter. Rotating the same eight to ten sweaters. I know that sounds crazy, but I really only have that many that I actually want to wear right now (this IRO sweater is one). Last week I did a major closet cleanout. Took a huge bag to Goodwill, and sold a ton of my clothes at Reddz and Buffalo Exchange in Georgetown, and I still have five bags to sell elseware!
BCBG Chakra Gown — This dress. Worth. Every. Penny. I bought it (on sale) right before I went to North Carolina for a wedding a few weeks ago. I wanted long sleeves and a long dress, which is damn near impossible to find (I literally went to every store in Georgetown with dresses) but this dress is seriously amazing. I cannot even tell you how many people came up to me all night complimenting my dress. You can’t buy it online anymore (but you can rent it at Rent the Runway, and there might be a few left in store at BCBG).
ZARA Poncho — I think I got this in December as it’s sold out now, but it reminded me of Isabel Marant (one of my fave designers). Can’t really go wrong with a black and white poncho. It was one of those items I saw in store, and kept thinking about, and was able to wait for it to go on sale to grab it up. (Similar poncho.)
