What do you do all the time? Think about your major goals and what you could be working toward. If you diligently chip away at your goals little by little each day or each week, they will eventually come to fruition. So stop doing pointless things (maybe that 3rd hour of reality TV isn’t necessary…), and start doing things that really matter to you.
When I set my intentions for 2012, (crazy to look back at that) I knew that I didn’t want to waste any more time. When I moved to the DC area in early 2011 the first four months were a bit of a shit show for me and I didn’t want to look back at 2012 like I looked back at 2011 (it’s way in the past now, and I don’t dwell), but I was on a mission to change, and boy have I. I have always been pretty organized so my friends make fun of me as if I’m crazy for wanting extreme organization and success for my business but to me it’s necessary for efficiency and not letting emails get buried (still happens).
This Aristotle quote also reminds me of this 10,000 hours post. So keep at it and redirect your time, habits, and what you do every day.
