So this is a bit more of a cobalt blue than the Olympic blue, but it’s a hot color for fall. I have a bit of an Olympic hangover today from watching the women’s gymnastics and swimming. I remember watching 16 years ago when the American women’s team won gold, so it was so touching to watch it again (thank god the scrunchies and bangs are gone!). The Fabulous Five as they are called are rockstars! Gabby’s lean muscles are just sick (in a good way). I hope they can continue their solid performances through the rest of the games… I’ll be watching.
Lace has continued to be a huge trend, and you can find it in more than just black and white: purple, red, pink, even neon. I’m loving the pattern on this blue & black scarf. Scarves are an essential part of my wardrobe since I’m always cold! I’m a huge flat fan since I’m always taking the bus or the metro, so I tend to walk a lot around the city in flats. I’m loving all the options of chic flats in bright colors, fun patterns, and with embellishments, like the metal on the toe in the flat above. There’s really no excuse for boring flats anymore.
