I thought I’d share some recent lighting I’ve added to my home. It has really made a huge difference in the feel of my place — first off we have light! But also because each lamp makes its own statement and they are all so different.
BLACK TRIPOD FLOOR LAMP — This is the perfect simple dramatic statement I needed in my living room. It stands out on the light gray walls.
BRASS PHARMACY DESK LAMP — I mean this is obvious. This classic Robert Abbey lamp never gets old, and it’s the perfect task lamp while I’m working away at my desk.
BLACK REACTIVE GLASS ACCENT LAMP — Just look at this beauty! You’ve all probably seen this one as it’s been featured in a few homes recently around the web. I wanted the same look but not that exact lamp — I needed something smaller and didn’t want to mess with a shade, so when I saw this lamp I was in love! It’s just so cool when it’s lit up, people always comment on it.

I actually just posted about lighting today too. I’m making decisions on what to install and recently bought pendants from West Elm, but need a chandelier too. I like your floor lamp and the desk lamp a lot!

I always feel silly shelling out lots of $ for a nice lamp–but it’s true, they set the mood for a space. Especially at my work area, the lighting has to be *just* right.
The black glass accent lamp is by far my favorite–it looks like a sculpture when it’s turned off! Great investment.
