Stockholm-based illustrator Kristina featured a What’s In My Bag & did this adorable illustration (above)! In my kate spade bag: Rebecca Minkoff wallet (sold out in gray ostrich, similar); Blair Ritchey pencil case (I keep all my lip products in it); kate spade card holder; Pilot pens — Extra Fine (but don’t take them with you on a plane — mine always explode); Sharpie pens; Felt-tip pens (I love pens); fresh sugar lip treatment (seriously amazing); Radiant Cosmetics lipstick in Charlotte; Calvin Klein Euphoria (my “scent”); Smith’s Rosebud Salve; L’Occitane hand cream; and I always carry Blink eyedrops.
I can’t wait for Becca’s line to come out! Here’s a few behind the scenes shots.
I have to make these Tangerine Sorbet Champagne Floats!
I’m dying to see more of Cassie & Kyle’s trip to South Africa!
Last night I got pretty far into reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed before my Sleepytime Tea kicked in — I’m already sucked in to this book. (I drink some sort of Sleepy Tea almost every night).
Caitlin launched her new website and Design in a Box service — so beautiful!
I’ve been thinking really hard about finding a studio/workspace in DC to share with a few other gals that also work from home (so if you know of anything cute in the Farragut area let me know) — so Kathleen’s post is timely for me.
I can’t get enough of Victoria’s pup Lucy. Look at that face!
Do you have a white bag? I’m so nervous to get one — afraid my jeans will rub on it or something.
Loving Jessie’s tomboy style.
I have personally ALWAYS been a huge fan of doughnuts (cupcakes were never my fave), so the fact that they are now the new “hip” dessert comes as no surprise to me as I feel they are far superior to cupcakes. I’m glad the Bitches Who Brunch agree.
I love learning what beauty products people use consistently — Camille reveals hers here.
One of my FIRLs (friends-in-real-life) shared a big announcement.
I’m hoping to hit the beaches of Miami for my 30th coming up here in a month-ish, so I’m taking all of Erika’s advice to heart.

Oh my goodness Meg, the illustration is fabulous! Kristina is so talented, I love it.
Hope you are doing well, and ps, having just turned 30 I can tell you it’s tithe best!! Hugs x
I’m actually really excited to turn 30! I just want to have a memorable trip to kick it off — been a while since I went on a fun, care-free vacay.
love this illustration! So perfect! Have a fab weekend!!! xx
I too read Wild, great book, I couldn’t put it down. I hear it will be made into a movie.
Oooh great, I’d love to see it as a movie!
Her stuff is so beautiful! I really want to get my own made. She is so talented.
Elizabeth of The Corner Apartment
You definitely should have her do something for you. Not only is she talented, but she’s amazing to work with as well.
How fun is that illustration!! A nice twist on the typical “what’s in your bag” pictures/post.
And I just repinned the Tangerine Sorbet Champagne floats….they sound perfect for spring!
xo,
Alyssa

I am almost finished listening to Wild. What an amazing book! It makes me want to go “take a hike!” You’ll love it!
First of all, I def think you need to go to Miami for your 30th. I have been haranguing my friends to go there this year and well I don’t think it’s going to happen so you MUST go
Second of all, I love this post. Lots of thoughts so here goes. Wish I could share a workspace with you in DC, maybe one day. Donuts too have always been my fav (ask the hubby), but I don’t discriminate between any kind of baked goods. Love them all. And that illustration is amazing. Double yes to l’occitane hand cream and eye drops.
