When I saw some of the images from the Gucci Spring 2014 runway show on Pinterest I immediately knew I needed to check out the entire collection. Whoa! This collection is gorgeous. I’m a huge fan of these shiny deep dark jewel toned fabric in this collection. I love the deep-V (although I’d wear a not-see-through bra or top under the dress of course), and the loose sexy silhouette of the collection.
“She [Frida Giannini, creative director at Gucci] quoted the work of Erté, the fashion illustrator of the 1910s, as a source for her shapes, and the inspiration found in stained glass, Art Nouveau–era windows for the stylized florals she worked into prints and metallic embroideries.” —Sarah Mower, Vogue.com
