This is the perfect marriage of awesomeness. CONFETTISYSTEM + MoMA PS1 = I can’t think of anything more amazing. I’m so glad Amelia wanted to cover this! P.S. Her site just got a little face lift, you should check it out! — Meg
Moments like these I wish MoMA PS1 was a hop, skip and a jump away from Boston. If you’re living in the New York area make sure to check out the new installation exhibit by the talented duo behind CONFETTISYSTEM. Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho have been creating, since 2008, a wide range of work, from set designs to large scale interactive installations for an array of clients; The New Times, Opening Ceremony, J. Crew, Lanvin and Pop magazine with Gagosian Gallery to name a few.
The exhibit they designed for MoMA PS1, “100 Arrangements” features a collaboration of new and old pieces suspended from the ceiling. Their signature metallic geometric sculptures are the ultimate statement piece for a museum, concert venue, or company launch party. I’d love to throw a huge birthday bash that included a fun and vibrant CONFETTISYSTEM installation … Oh well, a girl can dream!
