If you’re like me, hair ties are a part of your daily life. You have them on your arm, stashed in every purse, in all corners of the drawers in your bathroom, a few in your office. No girl with long enough hair wants to be in a situation where she really needs a hair tie, and doesn’t have one. Then that’s all she can think about… my hair is so hot… I need to put it up… it’s driving me crazy! It’s all you can think about if you are in this situation, and you have to look around at the ladies you might be with at the time, and beg to “borrow” one of their precious hair ties. This has happened to all of us at one point in time.
Since my hair is fairly thin an long, the type of hair tie is really important. I don’t need one of those big thick ones, and I definitely don’t want that giant kink that it gives you. Once I came across Mane Message hair times, I’ve literally not used any other hair tie since. I even went so far as to get rid of all other hair ties. If you haven’t tried one of these beauties, let me tell you — they rock. They are elastic hair ties that double as bracelets, and are made out of soft elastic that doesn’t leave harsh lines on your hair or skin.
I was lucky enough to actually meet Olivia — the founder of Mane Message — in person when she attended my GSD workshop in San Francisco. She is such a sweet gal collaborating with her was a no brainer. I’ve put together two exclusive packages of Mane Message hair ties available only in my shop: Meg’s Neutrals — a package of 10 neutral colors for everyday, and Dark Matter — a package of 6 colors for fall.
I love that they are actually cute if you slip them on your arm on your way out the door. Some wear them just as much as a bracelet as they do a hair tie!
