I’m also on a reading kick while I’m in between semesters. I’ve put off The Fault in Our Stars because I don’t want to cry! I’m currently in the middle of The Dinner and I don’t know if it’s just me but I don’t find it to be living up to all the hype I read about it. I just finished The Goldfinch last week though and can’t recommend it enough.

I read The Fault in Our Stars in under 24 hours, immediately read it again the following week, and am now trying to pass it along to everyone I know. SO. GOOD.

I’m starting Where’d You Go, Bernadette? this weekend, courtesy of my very cool mother-in-law. It’s been recommended by a ton of folks, so I’m excited to dig in.

Next up: Me Before You (Jojo Moyes)

Loved the first two and ordered the third one earlier today! x

All three of these are on my book list, I have noticed we have the same taste in books. Thanks for sharing all your book fines I always love new suggestions.

Great recommendations! I’m currently reading TFIOS, and next on the list is Marra’s Constellation of Vital Phenomena. Can’t wait!

An avid reader like yourself must own a ton of books. Interior-wise, how do you store them? Behind closed doors or on open bookshelves? This is something I always struggle with. I find that many books, especially when they all have different colors, can look messy in an interior. Our interiors look quite similar, and I’m afraid I will lose the tranquil feeling when I store my books in an open bookcase. Could you do a blogpost on this subject? That would be most helpful.

Thank you for this tip! After I posted my comment, I saw a picture of your lovely reading nook on the right and noticed that the books were reversed. To be honest, I thought this was just for the picture, but you’re right that it does give your reading nook a more monochromatic feel. I will definitely give this a try! Books are always a good conversation starter, so I do want to show some spines. It’s all about finding the right balance.
